Hangover

What Is A Hangover?

A hangover is a collection of symptoms associated with too many the night (or day) before.

These can include:

  • Headache
Alcohol causes your blood vessels to expand which can cause head aches.

  • Feeling Sick
Alcohol can irritate the lining of your stomach, this can in turn make you feel sick, or worse be sick. So now you are hungover and you been sick / smell like sick.

  • Tiredness
Think you were ok because you still got 8hrs in? Nope. While you may well have got to sleep, your quality was poor. It stopped you getting in deeper stages of sleep. This can often lead to waking in the night.

  • Confused

  • Thirsty
You are dehydrated! Alcohol makes you urinate more. One in, one out! With out getting technical. You have lost too much water.

Ok we will get a little technical. Alcohol actually blocks the production of Vasopressin. This is an anti diuretic hormone. Without this chemical the kidneys send water straight to the bladder, instead reabsorbing into the body.

  • Lack Of Energy

Most people complain, and so did we. Until we decided that something needed to be done. We needed something natural and easy that would let us have a belter the night before, but be first in the office the next morning, get the most done, and feel fresh out of the box!
